Eighteen joyous pictures from London’s St Patrick’s Day Festival 2017 that will make your day

LONDON’S St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival brought the crowds to the streets of the Englaish capital yesterday and even the sun even made a few (brief) appearances.

Thousands of people from the Irish community gathered to enjoy the festivities with some clad in novelty sunglasses, fake leprechaun beards and the green, white and orange of Ireland.

Comedian and broadcaster Dara Ó Briain was this year’s parade Grand Marshall and led a procession of floats and bands through the city.

To pay tribute to the efforts of all those involved, we’ve picked 18 of our favourite images to share, courtesy of Irish Post photographer Malcolm McNally.
