POLICE in Manchester have appealed for information in tracing missing Eamonn Michael McConville from Glossop.

Eamonn, 51, has not been heard from since this morning and his car has since been found at some stables on Highfield Parkway in Bramhall, Stockport.

He is white, around 5ft 6ins, of a broad build with fair hair and blue eyes.

It’s believed he is wearing grey jeans, cream coloured hiking boots and may be wearing a black top.

Police Sergeant Steve Jones of GMP’s Stockport Borough, said: “As we have found Eamonn’s car in the Bramhall area, we are focusing our search here and think he may be nearby.

“I’m urging people to familiarise themselves with his photograph and if they see him, I need them to call us as soon as they can as we are very concerned for his welfare.”

If you see Eamonn or know where he is, please call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
