#Gallery… Check out our photos from the London St Patrick’s Day celebrations

Young musicians on one of the many floats.

LONDON’S St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival brought huge crowds to the streets of the English capital on Sunday as the London Irish community and their friends celebrated our patron saint in style.

Thousands of people gathered to enjoy the festivities with some clad in novelty sunglasses, fake leprechaun beards and the green, white and orange of Ireland.

Comedian and broadcaster Dara Ó Briain was this year’s parade Grand Marshall and led a procession of floats and bands through the city.

Here is just a selection of some of the photographs from the day, courtesy of Irish Post photographer Malcolm McNally.

More photos can be viewed here or in the print edition of this week’s Irish Post newspaper.
