Titanic Belfast proves a hit with visitors

Almost 11,500 people visited Titanic Belfast in its opening three days.

The exhibition, which opened on March 31 to mark the centenary of Titanic’s maiden voyage, has proved so popular that tickets have sold out until Monday, April 16.

In its opening weekend – March 31 and April 1 – a total of 6,000 visitors experienced Titanic Belfast.

On Monday, April 2 a further 5,400 walked through the iconic building, which features nine galleries exploring the sights, sounds, smells and stories of the doomed ocean liner as well as the rich story of Northern Ireland’s industrial and maritime heritage.

The building, supported by the Northern Ireland Executive, also houses a 1,000-seat banqueting suite, education and community facilities.
