West Ham football fan sells a part of Upton Park stadium for £350

ONE lucky West Ham fan will be the owner of an authentic piece of Hammers history from Upton Park.

Described as a piece of history, a sign from the Boleyn Ground - commonly known as Upton Park - has gone on sale on Loot.com.

The seller has set a price tag of £350, but adds they will accept an offer.

The sign is described as a double-sided metal seats sign that hung in the Bobby Moore Stand in the former home of West Ham United.

Having moved home at the end of last season after 112 years in Upton Park, the Hammers rewarded loyal fans by offering them the chance to purchase pieces of their former ground.

The club sold off everything from the famous gates at the front of the former Hammers' home to the crest that hung inside the stadium.

Now for fans that missed out, this could be a perfect opportunity to pick up a treasured piece of memorabilia.

The club, now playing out of the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, have since changed crest and the interior of the stadium to reflect the modern face of the club.
